Caption: @muse1971 People do a wide range of things to feel safe, some that I don’t always understand. For me, taking action for the collective and community, makes me feel safe. Seeing others act in service for the collective makes me feel safe. This video makes me feel safe. Hope you do too. 💚💚💚 #repost @nativewomenswilderness We are so thankful to @nativesreact and @patrickisanavajo for putting this video together. Across nations, we are dancing and praying for the healing of our people 💙

Caption: @muse1971 Last night I dreamt of this song and my dad, who brought me my old huapango dress from the days I danced folklorico. When I woke up, I remembered the beautiful films this simple Mexican song (performed untraditionally by Caetano Veloso) made its way into. Antepasados are telling me that in addition to our individual grief for the loss we’ve been experiencing over the past year, we are also processing a collective grief in our bodies and subconscious. 🖤 Take gentle care of yourselves and others today.
